BeatriceTURNERAged 92, died peacefully on Saturday, February 24th 2007, at The Old Rectory Nursing Home, Exeter. She was born June 29th 1914 to Esther and Thomas Wheeler in Spennymoor, County Durham. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Jack. She leaves a son, Michael and his wife Sally of Webster, New York; granddaughter Gail and her husband Brent Stucker of Logan, Utah and grandson John Turner and his wife Elissa, of Mobile, Alabama; four great-grandchildren and nephews and nieces. Beatrice took a B.Sc. from Durham University, and taught many years at St. James Girls School, finishing as Senior Mistress at Vincent Thompson School. Her zest for life and people, and love of family, will be deeply missed. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 13th 2007 at 10:45am at the Exeter Crematorium. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to The Parkinson's Disease Society care of the Funeral Directors M. Sillifant & Sons, 19-20 Holloway Street, Exeter.
