We will always have very fond memories of Auntie Chris. With the distance between us we sadly didn’t meet very often, but when we did the conversation would flow effortlessly until we left. Our happiest memory was a lovely day spent together at Torquay Zoo many years ago. Chris had a wicked sense of humour and we all laughed until we cried when embarrassingly faced with two animals who needed to ‘get a room’. Nothing stuffy about Chris! Her zest for life and warmth will be lovingly remembered. xx

My lovely Auntie Chris. She was a woman of remarkable strength, integrity and warmth. She had a wonderful sense of humour and was a deeply caring lady. On my wedding day it was she who steadied my nerves, fixed my veil and spent time with me, a matron of honour in the truest sense. Sadly gone, but never forgotten xxx
