Tina TURNERhas died at the age of 83 as tributes pour in for the music legend. Tina Turner, born Anna Mae Bullock, was born in Nutbush, Tennessee but became a citizen of Switzerland in 2013.
The Queen of Rock 'n' Roll died after a long illness at her home near Zurich in Switzerland. Tina was known throughout the world for her unique vocals and many hits.
A statement announcing her death says: "With her, the world loses a music legend and a role model."
A private funeral ceremony will be held for close friends and family.
