DerekTURNERPassed away peacefully at home on 11th November after a battle with cancer, bravely fought.

Husband of the late Jean, he leaves behind daughter Karen, grandson Damian (who he brought up as his son), Damian's wife Cara and grandchildren Chloe, Josh and Lucy.

No funeral as he left his body to medical science, but donations can be made in his memory to St Barnabas Hospice Trust, 12 Cardinal Close, Lincoln, LN2 4SY or online at funeral-notices.co.uk

He will be remembered by so many for raising money for St Barnabas every year with his wonderful display of Christmas lights.

Derek was always cheerful, had a great sense of humour, was kind, and ready to help anyone. He was a lovely Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, and did so much to raise money for charity. He will be truly missed by all. Sending love and thoughts to Karen, Damian, Cara, Chloe, Josh, and Lucy.
