Paul AnthonyTYRRELLOn Thursday 15th December 2022, after a short period of ill health, Paul formerly of Golcar, passed away quietly in hospital, aged just 70 years, in his long-standing, adopted home of Cagliari, Sardinia. He had three much loved children with wife Anna Maria; two sons, John and Roby, one daughter Emily, plus a new son in law, Stefano. Paul will be sorely missed by all. Paul was the eldest and dearly loved son of the late Paddy and Pauline Tyrrell and much loved big brother to Marie (now deceased), Karen, Brian and Clare and their partners, who provided him with lots of opportunity to be a doting Uncle Paul to many. Paul was still working for the University in Cagliari to the end, so he leaves behind his many English Language students, alongside a cast of long standing friends from across his life. His funeral will take place on Monday 19th December 2022 in Sardinia but it will be followed by a Celebration of his Life back in Huddersfield with family and friends in late Spring/ early Summer 2023 with details to be confirmed.
