Sidney JohnVALLANSPassed away peacefully at Florence Nightingale Community Hospital, Derby on July 17th, 2022, aged 84 years. Beloved husband of Elsie, much loved dad of Andy and his wife Val, Ian and his wife Sherry and Pete and his wife Joanne. Dearly loved grandad of Charlotte, Jonathan, Leonie, Billy, Tom, Harry and Sam and a good friend of many. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday 10th August at 1.00pm at Amber Valley Memorial Park and Crematorium, Derby Road, Swanwick, Alfreton DE55 1BH, then afterwards at the Sitwell Arms, 30 Wood Lane, Horsley Woodhouse, DE7 6BN. Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Sid for Alzheimer's Society, can be made online at www.gillotts.co.uk/sidvallans by retiring collection after the service or sent to Gillotts Funeral Directors, 1a Abbott Street, Heanor, DE75 7QD.
