MichaelVARTY22.01.1930 - 14.08.2022 Passed away peacefully in hospital with his family by his side on the night of Sunday 14th August aged 92 years. A much loved husband of the late Margaret, dad to Kevin and Jill and father-in-law to Mark and Amanda. A wonderful dad, Probus member and a lifelong Derby County supporter, Michael will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. The funeral service will be held at Trent Valley Crematorium, Aston-on-Trent at 11.30am on Friday 2nd September followed by a celebration of Michael's life at the Donington Manor Hotel, Castle Donington DE74 2PP. Any of Michael's fellow football supporters wishing to attend the service in their Derby County shirts, will be most welcome to do so. Family flowers only please, if desired donations and any cheques may be made payable to 'League of Friends' and will be forwarded to the Royal Derby Hospital. All enquiries to J. P.
