MichaelVERNONPassed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on 30th March aged 67 years. Loving husband of Carol, brother to Elizabeth, uncle of Janet and lifelong friend of Chris, Andrew & Eddy. Michael will be sorely missed by all his family and friends. Please meet at Tynemouth Crematorium on Thursday 18th April at 11:15am. Family flowers only, donations in lieu are to go to the RNLI. All are welcome back after the service to The Grand Hotel, Tynemouth.

I started at Transco/NGN in 2001 and worked with Micky as an apprentice/craftsmen. He was a true gentleman and great teacher. Deepest sympathies. RIP Micky.

I first met Mick in 1978. We worked together over the next 37 years. He was a very steady lad with a good sense of humour and will be missed.
