John BrianVESSEY(BEM) Peacefully on the 11th of March 2021, aged 86 years, in the loving care of Hilltop Care Home, with his daughters by his side. Devoted husband of the late Rene, much loved and loving dad to Jeanette, Lisa and the late Paul, dear father-in-law to Chris and Roman, proud grandad to Natalie, Ethan and Natasha, dear brother, uncle and friend to many. A private service will take place at St Paul's Church, Ashby on Wednesday the 31st of March 2021 at 1.15pm prior to committal at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe. May I pass my condolences to Brian's family, friends and colleagues on his passing. Met Brian many times when he called into my shop . We had many good chats. He was so proud of being Mayor and loved his town and was so proud of it as he was when he was awarded the BEM . RIP Brian
