Edward William HarryVICKDr. Edward William Harry Vick Born on 4 April 1929 in Littlehampton, passed away peacefully on 23 July 2024 in Bournemouth, aged 95. A West Bridgford resident for 53 years, Dr. Vick was a teacher at Forest Fields School, later Forest Fields Sixth Form College, from 1971 until his retirement. He also taught a number of evening classes at the Workers Educational Association over many years. After retiring, he completed a B.A. in Philosophy at the University of Nottingham and went on to teach Philosophy courses in the University's continuing education programme. An avid gardener, he was a member of West Bridgford and Rushcliffe Horticultural Society for more than 50 years. He loved cricket, and often enjoyed a day out at Trent Bridge. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
