UllaVON BLIXEN-FINECKEVON BLIXEN-FINECKE Peacefully, unexpectedly but much, much too soon, at Raigmore Hospital, on Friday, September 9, 2005, Ulla (Kickan), aged 63 years, of West Lodge, Torridon, beloved mother of Robin, loving daughter of the late Manon Countess of Lovelace and the late Barron Carl Fredrik Von Bixen-Finecke, devoted sister of Ebbe, Dick, Jan and Peter and friend to many, soul partner of Alistair. Thanksgiving service, on Friday, September 16, at 11.00 a.m., in Torridon House. All friends respectfully invited. Committal at Inverness Crematorium, 2.00 p.m. No flowers, please. Donations to a charity of your choosing. Enquiries to William T. Fraser and Son, Funeral Directors, Culduthel Road, Inverness.

Hello, Robin, you won’t know me but I remember you when you were a small child when I worked at the Torridon Hotel. I knew your mom well and very much admired her. I was sorry to read of her passing. She was so very young.

I have only just found out of Ulla's passing. Although we had not been in touch for ages, I always had great memories of our friendship. I worked at Loch Torridon Hotel in 1965 and 66 when Ulla was managing it. We shared a lot of great times together including a trip to Spain. I am so sad to hear of her passing.
Much love, albeit belatedly, to her family.
