Jessie MayWAINWRIGHTformerly of Holly Tree Avenue, Birstall and Fulwell, Sunderland, has passed away at Heather Vale Care Home, Chesterfield aged 97 years. Jessie was born in Sunderland, Co Durham. She was a District Nurse and Midwife in Birstall from 1962 - 1973 then a clinical teacher from 1973 - 1988. She leaves her daughter Louisa Dent and son Gordon Wainwright. Also 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday 12th August at 11.30 at Chesterfield Crematorium, Brimington. Family flowers only.
