Colin EdwardWAKEPassed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 30th, Colin aged 86 years. Forever remaining in our hearts as a loving Husband, Dad, Grandad, Great Grandad, Brother, Uncle and Friend.

Family flowers only, donations to Dementia UK.

Funeral service to be held on Thursday 21st May 2026 in Maplewood Chapel, Stockton Crematorium at 10am.

Friends and family are welcome to join the family at the Roseworth Social Club to celebrate Colin's life. Family request Bright Colours or Football tops to be worn please.

Colin Edward Wake was my grandfather. I never had the opportunity to call him that and he probably wasn't even aware of my existence.
With his first wife Eileen, he had 4 children: Jackie, Pauline, Michael and Anita (my mother), all of whom he left very early on. Unlike the rest of my family, I don't hold much resentment and I haven't come to spread ill or bad stories i've heard. However I will say it is very strange to me seeing these pictures of him being a grandfather and key person in a family dynamic.... nonetheless, I'm glad his other grandchildren got to spend time with him
