Chris was an inspiring teacher. My fellow classmates and I gained so much from his wonderful Art and Architecture lectures at Leek W.E.A. and also at Keele Adult Education classes. He was also a very kind and thoughtful human being and is a great loss. I am very sad to hear of his death and will remember him very fondly.

We would like to thank Chris for the way he enlivened and enlarged our lives through his classes and his own enthusiasm and erudition during our retirement, on behalf of ourselves and other students of his. We are deeply saddened by the manner of his passing.
