MaureenWALKERof Redwood Drive, Rawtenstall, died at home on Thursday, October 31, aged 73. A local girl, Maureen also spent the majority of her working life in and around the valley. She enjoyed her interests in fashion, interior design and vintage furniture. She also loved holidaying in Devon with her family, days out for lunch, and her favourite hobby, shopping. She leaves her husband Larry, daughter Victoria Kay and son Samuel James. A service was held at Kay Street Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 13, led by Reverend John Prior, followed by interment at Haslingden Cemetery. The family would like to express their thanks to the Palliative Care Team, District Nurses and Hospice at Home for the excellent support provided. Donations to Rossendale Hospice.
