MargaretWALKERLost her brave fight against illness on August 14th 2022. Margaret lived on Lyndhurst Avenue, Bredbury as a girl, went to Highfield School for Girls and played in the netball team. The majority of her working life was spent at Mirrlees Blackstone. She lived for over 30 years on Patterdale Road before moving to Trinity Gardens, Davenport. Margaret had a keen interest in sport supporting Stockport County and being a keen supporter of Manchester City. In later years she was at her most content singing in the choir at St Saviours. She leaves behind her son Anthony, daughter-in-law Claire, sister Beryl and various nieces and nephews who will miss the sound of her laughter and will remember her fighting spirit. Her funeral is Wednesday 14th September at Stockport Crematorium at 10.45am.
