Derek TaitWALKERof Corbridge, Northumberland died suddenly in Hertfordshire on 30th December 2025 aged 86.

Beloved husband of the late Judith, much loved father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Family cremation in Hertfordshire, with a service of Thanksgiving at St. Andrew's, Corbridge on the 5th February at 11.30 am.

Derek and I were golfing friends initially and in recent years shared our enjoyment of food, fine wine and convivial conversations at our monthly meeting at many different restaurants and pubs.
He was always good company with a ready smile and I will miss him.
Condolences to his family and apologies for taking so long to find this site and pass on my regrets.
