Bernard a year has passed since you left us. We often talk about you, as you were the most loving, caring, kind and funny brother and Uncle.
We loved you dearly as you did us. My deepest regret is not having been with you at the end and not saying good bye. You will never be forgotten and you are in my prayers every night.
Love xxx
Mary,Ned your nieces and nephews.
God bless you and keep you safe.
May you RIP.

I was so sad to hear about Bernard's death. I have known him for more than 30 years from when he first worked for my mum. They were very fond of each other as was the case for him and my brother, Andrew. Andrew and Bernard were the closest of friends who looked out for each other until Bernard's struggle with cancer ended.
Bern never wanted a fuss and was always the most humble and modest soul He had a great sense of humour and was just a lovely man.
I'm sure he has gone to a place where he will finally find peace and ease.
I'm sorry I can't make the funeral but will go to church and light a candle for him on the day.
We will miss him.
RIP dear Bernard x
