Uncle Allan - I will treasure his kindness and love. A caring man, with a smile and laugh that could fill up a room. I have fond memories of my time in England post graduation and his visit with Ann to our home in Canada. Such happy times. He will be truly missed and in our hearts forever.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Uncle Alan will always be so fondly remembered. A true gentleman with such a kind smile and caring nature. I didn't get the chance to spend a lot of time with him but I am so thankful for the times we did have. I will treasure the visit to see me in CT forever and so glad for those shared those laughs. Till we meet again. With much love, Ann

Uncle Alan you will be deeply missed for all your kindness and generosity
I remember the first time I met Uncle Alan it was in the early sixties and he and Aunty Anne had just gotten engaged, we went back to England and the first time we saw him I said “wow you look just like President Kennedy”. He always had that full head of bushy hair 😘
When our daughter went to England 15 years ago my Aunt and Uncle were right there to let her know they were just a phone call away if she needed anything. She lived with them for 6 months and really loved her time with both of them. My spouse and I will always be grateful for their kindness and generosity.
As the years passed and our daughter fell in love and had a family and made the North her home we had more of a reason to return to England every year or so to visit and we always spent time with Uncle Alan and of course Aunty Anne. We loved hearing all his stories about growing up and the rich history of the North East.
You will be greatly missed more than you will ever know.
Love Matt, Kath, Mike, Scarlett, James, Connor, David, Stef, Penny, Maggie and Alfie xxx
