WALTER FREDERICK MORRISONWalter Frederick Morrison, the American inventor of the Frisbee, died on 9 February, 2010, aged 90.His original idea apparently came about while throwing a popcorn can lid with his girlfriend. They then discovered that cake pans flew better and went on to develop the aerodynamic plastic disc.It went on to become one of the world's most popular toys.He was survived by three children.
