Such sad news to hear that Don had passed away. A true friend and work colleague with a sense of humour that was always present. Many good memories of our time working together at R&C.
Our thoughts are with Margaret and family at this sad time.

With love from John and Lesley Doxey

I knew Don in the latter days of his life. A friend and colleague of Don's time working for Citizen's Advice. Along with Richard Coombe , Dilip Chiplunker, myself (Tommy Carney) and Don, we made up the Thursday Club at Stirling Castle. Don RIP and love to Margaret and family.

A wonderfully approachable R&D colleague remembered with fondness. Blessed with a kind warm smile and a truly wry sense of humour, Don had time for anyone. He mastered the art of being thoughtful and considered in all his advice and opinions.

I started work in the pharmacology department in Reckitts in 1974. I remember Don as a kind funny colleague who had the utmost respect for women at a time when women weren’t always taken seriously. He always had time to share his knowledge. His office was a magnet for colleagues to congregate to listen to his hilarious anecdotes.
Sincere condolences to Margaret and family. RIP Don.

My time with Don over many years together was one full of memories of a man who made me feel very comfortable and at ease in his company. This amongst many other qualities all of which reflected great credit on him. Do possessed impressive faculties of perception and was unswervingly kind. His sense of both humour and of the absurd made him entertaining and rewarding company. Take a bow Don Walter.

Fond memories of a friend and ex Reckitt colleague. As well as his fine work, I remember his enthusiasm in taking part in social events, and sports like badminton and 5 a side soccer. RIP Don. Sincere condolences to Margaret and family.

I was saddened to hear of Don's passing and send my sincere condolences to Margaret and his family. I started at Reckitt's in 1978 and joined Don's team in the Pharmacology Department which was headed by the late Geoff Metcalf. I remember lots of good times working together on various projects and also our regular games of 5-a-side football at the Chamberlain Road ground.
RIP Don.
