DeniseWALTERSPassed away peacefully at Singleton Hospital on January 1st, after a long fight against cancer. Denise, beloved wife of retired Evening Post political editor Brian, and dearest friend and devotee of Brian's three grown-up children, Vanessa, Geraint and Gareth, and six grandchildren, Alexander, Ashley, William, Thomas, Freddie and Molly. Also cherished sister of Yvonne, Norma, Jackie, Michelle and Donna. Denise will be sadly missed by her many friends and former work mates at Asda and Sweetmans confectioners, for whom she managed retail businesses in Whitewalls and Swansea Market. The funeral will take place at Margam Crematorium on Friday, January 18th at 12.30pm. Family flowers only please, but donations to Children With Cancer UK.
