KennethWALTERSKen, of Kiln House Way, Oswaldtwistle, and formerly of Mount Pleasant Street, Oswaldtwistle, passed away peacefully in hospital on Sunday, September 19 after a long illness, aged 71. He had a happy life with his late wife Linda and they had many happy years together. Ken sadly leaves behind his partner Sandra, daughter Gen and son-in-law Chris, grandchildren Freya and Sarah, and can’t forget Toby the dog. Ken spent his early life in London and later in Oswaldtwistle. He was an avid motorcycle expert, magician and model rail enthusiast. He was a technical advisor for the BSA Owners club and was well respected in these circles. He was a lover of the outdoors and was a regular at The Brooks Club where he spent most Tuesday afternoons. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, October 6 at 1pm at Accrington Crematorium, with all welcome, and after at the Britannia Pub. Family flowers only; donations to WaterAid. Funeral director: Wolstenholme Funeral Directors, Accrington.
