Valerie AnneWALTERSOf Spondon Passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at home, on 10th September 2026 aged 82.
Beloved wife of the late David, much loved Dad to Robert, Claire and Michael. Father-in-law to Moira and Fiona. Nanna to Charlotte, Isabelle, Thomas, Olivia, William, Oliver and Sam, Great Nanna to Rosie and Gracie. Sister to Margaret and Kath.
A funeral Service for Valerie to be held at Trent Valley Crematorium on Friday 9th October at 1:30pm.
Family flowers only please, however charity donations in lieu for the Nightingale Macmillian Unit and Age UK will be collected at the service.
The family would like to express thanks to everyone at the Royal Derby Hospital for the care and the support towards the family.
