Peacefully in hospital on the 21st September aged 95 years.

Dearly loved husband of Mavis. Dear dad to Peter and his wife Marina. Loving grandad to Emily, Kalina and Alyssa.

Friends please meet for service at Cowpen Crematorium on Friday October 6th at 1pm.

All welcome afterwards at the Blyth Constitutional Club for refreshments.

Family flowers only please.

Donations in lieu if desired to St Oswald's Hospice. A donations box will be available at the crematorium.

We were deeply saddened to hear of Alan’s passing. He was a wonderful man, and I’m (Alistair) so glad I had the chance to spend time with him in 2018 (see the photo). We wish all close family and friends nothing but comfort and strength. Kind regards from Hannover. Salva, Rosi & Alistair.
