Glenice MaryWALTONPeacefully at rest, having fought her illness with great courage and dignity, Glenice, aged 87, passed away on 14th June 2026, surrounded by her loving family at the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, fortified with the rites of the Holy Church on whose soul sweet Jesus have mercy. R.I.P

Glenice was the devoted and loving wife of Harry, a dearly loved and treasured mum to Claire and Fiona, a much loved mother-in-law to Lee and Steve, a cherished nana to Gemma, Kira, Jess, Jack and Adam. She was a loved and cherished sister to Pam, and also a much loved sister-in-law, auntie and cousin.

Glenice will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family and friends.

Funeral Service and Requiem Mass to take place at Sacred Heart RC Church Tunstall, on Monday 13th July 2026 at 11am followed by a committal at Carmountside Crematorium.

Family and friends wishing to attend are kindly asked to meet at the church.

No flowers by request. Donations, if desired, may be made to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice. A donation box will be available at the church.
