MauriceWARBURTONMr Maurice Warburton, of Baxenden, passed away on Saturday, October 16. Beloved husband of the late Joan, cherished dad of John, Jeff, and Janet, and much loved grandad of Jack, Alice, Mattie, Issy, and Katie. He also leaves sister Jean, sisters-in-law Joan and Betty, brother-in-law Peter, daughter-in-law Rosie, son-in-law Dave, nieces, nephews, and many good friends. Maurice was a retired headteacher. Maurice most loved spending time with family and friends. He was part of the Rhyddings Methodist Church community for over 50 years, and enjoyed being a member of Baxenden Golf Club and Grange Bowling Club. A private family cremation will take place, followed by a Thanksgiving Service for Maurice and Joan at Rhyddings Methodist Church, Oswaldtwistle, on Friday, November 5, at 11.30am. Donations if desired are being received for Rhyddings Methodist Church. Funeral director: Wolstenholmes Funeral Service, Accrington.
