DavidWARDDaphne and the family would like to thank all our relatives and friends who have shown so much kindness to us following the unexpected sad loss of David. We were comforted by all who attended the service and completely overwhelmed and grateful to those who sent cards and messages of sympathy. We would especially like to thank Reverend Susan Oldham for such a beautiful service and for her unique words of comfort . Sincere thanks to Michael Morpurgo for his moving eulogy, which was a wonderful tribute to David and reflected the love and friendship he shared with so many. Grateful thanks also to Dan Harrison and Dan Hosegood for their tender and sensitive readings and Marjorie Cleverdon for the exquisite organ music. Special thanks to the bearers Adam, Anthony, Brian, Colin, Henry and Stuart - David was honoured to have you all as his friends. Thank you to Sue Dunn for creating such beautiful and personal floral tributes and Diane Quance for the much appreciated refreshments. A massive thank you from all our hearts for the love the whole FFCC team at Nethercott House have offered and the incredible help they gave to organise the wonderful gathering to remember David following the service. Finally we would like to thank Andrew and Janice from R Gist and Son for their support and professional advice to manage the funeral arrangements. David was an incredible man and everyone loved him and we thank you all for your donations, that to date have raised £2350 which will be shared between Devon Air Ambulance Trust and Farms For City Children. We thank you all so much.
