Anthony CharlesWARDIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony (Tony) Ward aged 92 years.
Tony died peacefully on 23rd September 2024 having suffered from dementia in his final years. He leaves Shirley, his devoted wife of almost 67 years, his daughter Patricia, grandsons William and Nicholas and nephews Bob and Tony and their families.
His passion for fishing from an early age saw him a frequent visitor to Blithfield Reservoir and the Rivers Dove and Spey.
Grateful thanks to all the staff at Lake View Nursing Home for their care, kindness and support over the last year.
Tony's funeral service will take place at Stafford Crematorium on Friday 11th October at 3pm.
