AlphonsusWARDFormerly of Creeslough, Ireland Passed away peacefully at the Royal Derby Hospital on Wednesday 12th March 2025, aged 96 years. Beloved husband to Margaret. Loving father to Charlie, John, Michael, Brendan and Ann. Father in law to Mary, Sally and Carol. Treasured grandad to Mairéad, Fionnuala, Aisling, Jordan, Cavan, Caomhán and Ella. Funeral service to be held at English Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Alvaston on Friday 21st March 2025 at 11.00am. Mass and burial to take place in Creeslough, County Donegal, Ireland on Sunday 23rd March 2025 at 11.00am. Family flowers only please. Donations are invited for the British Heart Foundation and the Irish Heart Foundation. These can be made online at www.georgesimnett.co.uk or may be given at the service.
