The obituary notice of Doreen WARDLE

I am very sorry to learn that Doreen has passed. I have many fond memories of attending social events at Allerton and Woolton golf clubs with Doreen and her family. I have very good memories also, of caravan holidays with Doreen and Arthur in Porthmadog. She was lovely company: very easy and genuine. Sincere condolences.

Doreen was such a good family friend over the years we didn't see each other as often as we used to. Fond memories of Allerton Golf Club Evenings and Social Events. Reunited with Arthur whom was also a very good friend. Make sure you have a dance with Phil up there you will be sadly missed. Jean and Family x

Auntie Doreen was my last surviving Auntie and she was very special to me 💘
From my earliest memories in Mackets Lane to the last time we were together Auntie Doreen was a 2nd Mum to me, looking after me when I was young and always knowing and interested what i/we were doing when I was grown up. She really welcomed Diane into our family and always took a close interest in Seb and Imogen. In recent years we made more happy memories and Auntie Doreen's capacity to know everything never diminished...which was a blessing. Her years living with Sue and Keith and Luke after Uncle Arthur passed away were like an "extra-time" and she enjoyed all her children and grandchildren and extended family's time spent with her.
We are extremely sad to say goodbye to Auntie Doreen and we will miss her as a constant in our lives and we we are also happy to have had her and know she is reunited with Uncle Arthur xx
