We met Shaun through the Charity Shop, and right away built a light hearted friendship. Shaun was One of the Nicest, Most Genuine Individuals We have had the Pleasure of meeting, now gone but...will NEVER be Forgotten. Always rejuvenated after seeing Shaun, with His Quietly assertive Persona, Dry Sense of Humor, and a Transparency that Drew you in. Thank you Shaun for being You, and Making the World a Better Place. Sharon & Graham.

When I started a music college programme I received a nice card from Shaun and the other staff members at the Marlene Reid Centre. On it, Shaun signed his name, and wrote "Thanks for putting up with me". NO, Shaun - I must say, thank YOU for putting up with ME! If I was about to make a mistake, he was always there to make sure that accidents didn't happen. That is the type of person he was - a perfectionist, with a sharp eye for detail. Dutiful, funny, caring; a true joy to work with. In addition to that, he didn't take issue with my attendance in his part of the building. Also, because of his exact instructions involving woodwork and furniture restoration, I was able to complete tasks the way I was instructed to. At the end of a project I'd been working on, I never heard any complaints from him. "I'm happy with that", he would always say.

I am deeply saddened by our loss of Shaun, our colleague, our friend.
May he rest in peace with the higher beings he believed in.

Shaun was a friend and colleague at the furniture warehouse at MRC. Someone willing to share stories and experiences including a taste for zero alcohol beer. I will always remember our walk around Bardon Hill to look at rocks. Shaun will be missed but not forgotten. Martin Insley
