Norman WilliamWARNES(Wallsend) Died peacefully after a long illness on Monday 11th March 2024, aged 87 years.
Best known as Detective Sergeant Bill Warnes of Northumbria Police Force based in central Newcastle upon Tyne.
Beloved husband of the late Shirley Warnes (nee Thompson). A much loved Dad to Gordon, Keith and Hayley and father in law to Penny, Donna and Richard. A loved Grandad to Ben, Jaimee, Lizzie, David, Ellie and Mady.
Would friends please meet for service at Tynemouth Crematorium on Monday 8th April at 12:45pm.
Family flowers only please, donations can be made in lieu at the service in aid of St Oswald's Hospice.
A family gathering at The Beehive Pub, Harltey Lane, NE25 0SZ will be taking place and all are welcome to join for a drink.
