Suddenly but peacefully at home on Monday 11th December 2023 aged 85 years.
Beloved wife of John.
Much loved mam of Maureen, John, Linda, Stephen and Mandy.
Dear mother in law of John, Glen, Tony, Michelle and Preston.
Treasured nanna of Amanda, Gemma, Terri, Laura, Steven, Joshua and Jordan.
Loving great nanna of all her grandchildren.
Also a dear sister of Carol, Trevor and the late Dorothy, Francis, Ann and Pat.
Would all please meet for funeral service at West Road Crematorium on Wednesday 20th December at 11.00am.
Floral tributes welcome or donations gratefully received on behalf of Cancer Research a collection box will be available following the service.
All welcome afterwards to The Juve Lounge, Gibside Gardens, Benwell. NE15 7PP.

Maureen was like a shining star, everyone was drawn to her. She was my second mam growing up, such a lovely caring lady who is going to be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Sweet dreams lovely lady xx

Maureen you were such a special lady to all of your family and your friends. I have lovely memories of the times we have been together within the family and you often volunteered good words and advice. Your family will be lost in limbo at this moment without your presence but I believe your love will be around them all to manage their way through this heartbreaking time. Thinking of all the family. Maureen was a beautiful Woman who was loved so much. The best mam to her lovely children. She was the glue and rock of her family. I loved being in Maureen's company she was one of a kind and always gave me the best advice. I have so many wonderful memories to cherish. Maureen will be missed so much. Forever in our hearts.
