He was loved and will be deeply missed by his family and those who knew him.

At his request, family flowers only, with donations (if desired) in memory of Paul to East Lancashire Hospice.

I am very sorry to read this news. I remember Paul from St Michael's Borehamwood where he was the vicar 1990-96. He was a wonderful priest and leader and I remember him always having time for me as a young child. In his latter years there I was getting into the Blackadder comedy and I have fond memories of the two of us quoting lines from it back and forth.

Paul was enormous fun and a tireless public servant during his time at St Michael's. I was sad when he left for pastures new.

I wish Janet, Ruth, Helen, Peter and Katherine all the very best as they grieve for someone who must have been a wonderful husband and dad.
