I remember meeting John for the first time in the early 1990s - I remember how comfortable his warm smile and welcoming handshake made me feel. A true gentleman. Rest in peace John.

I only met John for a brief morning with Mary but the impression he left was memorable. He had such a zest for life and he was such a great talker. More importantly, it was obvious that he lived for his family and I hope you all have great memories of him as you come together now for his send off. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
