Philip died on March 5th after a very long and difficult illness. He was 72.

Funeral service will be held at St. Brannock's Church, Braunton, on Tuesday 26th March at 11am.

Family flowers only. Donations in his memory, if desired, can be made to the Stroke Association by retiring collection or c/o L. Clarke & Sons

So very sad to hear the recent news . I have many great memories of time spent in Phillips company and fondly remember in particular his great sense of humour . Exceptional golfer and inspiration to me who I greatly admired .

Certainly one of a kind ! with amazing brain and always with clever entrepreneurial ideas. Great golfer and foursomes partner I had the pleasure of partnering on 3 SWCGA occasions with an enviable record. Very sorry to hear of his passing I have lots of great memories of times together.
