OlgaWAUDBY (STEPHENSON)On behalf of the Stephenson family we would like to pay tribute to our recently lost family member, Olga Rosalyn Waudby neé Stephenson, who will be sadly missed. She was a loving sister to the late Betty Gartshore, Aunt to Iain and Adele, Great Aunt to Alison and Alex and Great Great Aunt to Tallulah and Lucien. She was Cousin to Geoffrey and In-law June and the late Donald, Gordon and Beryl.
We held an extended family re-union in 2019 which Gordon Jnr kindly organised with family travelling as far as South Africa attend. Olga enjoyed the change of scene from the Old Peoples Home and the opportunity to socialise with a lot of her family. Adele, her niece was only too happy to have organised for her to be there to enjoy such a lovely stimulating occasion.
Olga had a wicked sense of humour - a very Stephenson trait - which remained with her to the end, thank goodness, as it probably helped her through the last few years. She had the generosity of spirit to put her own needs last in order to maintain harmony. Over the years she remained the person we knew and loved, always remaining true to her roots.
We will all be thinking of dearest Olga on her final journey.
May she rest in peace, without hypocrisy, and free at last.
