Birthday Memoriam for John WEDDLE

It's Twenty Four years today, when you showed such braveness driving your train on the morning of the 28th February 2001. You always looked out for your passengers and staff, making sure everyone arrived at their destinations safely, in what would have been your 26th year of service at the time of the crash. John, you have never been forgotten and never will. You always will be a huge loss to me - you were an amazing train driver and person, that had to leave this world so soon! Miss You Joanne Xxx.

The reminders of loss is always present, but when loss happens unexpectedly
It makes you realise how fragile we really are. Everything can change in the time it takes to snap your fingers, loss is hard! Today, brought back tough memories of that loss, that loss with you! I've learnt over the years that loss is universal and it's not reserved exclusively for just our friends and loved ones. To those we remember. R.I.P. x

How can I not visit this place and not think of you! 2017 was the year 'Sizing John' won the Gold Cup - I placed a bet on and won! I felt that you were watching down on me on that day - I hope you are today too! Miss You x
