Brian played tennis at Woodlawns, Gloucester Civil Service and latterly Wotton Lawn Tennis Club for many years. He was a very good player who spin made him very difficult to play against. He had a great sense of humour and made us all laugh after the matches (he played in the same team as me). Brian invited me for a knock up when I was suffering from severe depression. I have never forgotten his kindness and compassion.
