Bob Weighton, who lived through two world wars, has sadly died of cancer, his family have confirmed.
The world's oldest man who lived through two world wars has died aged 112. Mr Weighton, who was born in 1908, had celebrated his birthday in March at home in Alton, Hampshire.
Mr Weighton earned the Guinness World Record in March this year following the death of Japanese man Chitetsu Watanabe.
He leaves behind three children, 10 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
