Hannah IsabelleWELSH (NEE BALDWIN)Issy (Birtley) sadly passed away on Thursday 1st August 2024 at Covent House aged 69.

Beloved Wife of Eddie, much loved Mother to Lewis, Rhonda, and Mandie. Devoted Grandma of Michael, Natalie, Annalise, Maison & Fraizer. Great Grandma to Cameron, Kane & Roman. She will be hugely missed by all her family & friends.

The funeral service will be held at Birtley Crematorium on Monday 12th August 2024 at 11am.

All who would like to are welcome afterwards at the Coach & Horses. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Macmillan Cancer Support & RSPCA (Durham).

Issy we met at work when you were given the job to be my work buddy which meant you were to teach me how to to the job. We hit it off straight away and spent many times chatting about our families. You told me many stories of the times you shared with your family and how close you were to them and I saw that many times over the years. I have never met a more kinder and most sincere person who always found the good in people . The friendship we shared was very special and I will treasure the times we shared. You will be missed so much. The golden girls will live on as you will alway be in our thoughts. Rest in peace Issy xx

Isabelle, we were friends for life - from playing in the park at Eighton Banks to trawling charity shops in Chester le Street and Jedburgh (your happy place).
You have been so brave and dignified over the past months and your strength and resilience shone through as it did throughout your life.
My dearest friend you deserve to rest in peace and be happy and care free.
I love you and I will miss you more than you will ever know. You will always be in my thoughts. Judith
