John HughWELSHDied peacefully at home on Sunday 19th May 2024, aged 87 years.
Devoted husband of the late Ann, much loved father of Áine and Seán, cherished grandfather of Ruaídhrí and Cormac, dear brother of the late Bernard and treasured father-in-law of Karen.
John was proud to be a reader at Sacred Heart church, an active member of the Catenian community, and a former president of the Rochdale branch.
John loved to paint, to perform amateur dramatics, and to write and perform his own monologues.
He will be greatly missed by his family, his many friends, the Sacred Heart parish community, and his Catenian brothers.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday 12th June 2024 at Sacred Heart RC Church at 12:30pm, followed by committal at Rochdale Crematorium at 2:00pm.
