Martyn JamesWERREITT(Musician) Peacefully at home after a short illness, on 11th April 2019. Beloved brother, uncle, grandfather and friend. Private cremation. A Service of Thanksgiving for Martyn's life will take place at St Peter's Church, Winchcombe, on Tuesday 7th May, at 11.30am. No flowers please. Donations if desired, for Kate's Home Nursing and Macmillan Cancer Support, may be placed in the retiring collection or sent care of Alexander Burn Funeral Directors, 11 North Street, Winchcombe, GL54 5LH. I was out just before dawn the other day listening to the birds. There were magpies, kookaburras and an unknown bird - no “hoo” birds! I was desperately trying to remember what you called birds - big birds and little birds in some African language - but I just couldn’t. And after 4 years it can still hit out of the blue and it hurts so much. If only you were here… XOXO
