Lawrence EdwardWHITEPeacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on 14th January 2024, aged 96 years. Devoted husband to Betty, greatly loved dad of Ian and Lesley, forever loved grandad of Carli, Justin, Abigail and Lucy, and treasured great grandad to Alex and Jack. Laurie was also a friend of many. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Friends are invited to join Laurie's family to celebrate his life on Friday 2nd February at Saltwell Crematorium at 3:15pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu will be received on the day with proceeds being divided between The Royal British Legion and The Alzheimer's Society. A Donations box will be available at the Crematorium. All are welcome to continue the celebration of Laurie's life at The Bowes Incline, Northside, Birtley, DH3 1RF.
