Glenys, James and Matthew. So very sorry to hear the news today (18.06.25) and I will be thinking of you all in the weeks and months that follow.
Charles was a lovely neighbour at Pine Way and I remember him being in his element when a tree came down in the garden and he got stuck into the clearing up process along with so many others who helped on that day. A good neighbour.
Charles and Glenys's two boys played many a game with my two boys whilst they were younger and it was happy days and they are well remembered.

So so many lovely memories of visiting my mum’s family - Glen, Charles, James and Matthew. There is always a big welcome in the valleys - be it a cuppa at Pineway or Verdis or a trip to Caswell or the Mumbles. Charles will be so so missed. Lots of love Don, Marianne & Lib & London families xxx

So sorry for your loss, sending our thoughts at this difficult time. Charles was such an inspiration, his support for the Brass Band community not only in West Wales, but across Wales was incredible, and I learnt so much from him. Thank you for everything, in the words of John Miles, "Music was my first love, And it will be my last, Music of the future, And music of the past, To live without my music, Would be impossible to do, In this world of troubles, My music pulls me through."
