Yesterday, we laid our beautiful girl Gemma to rest.
Thank you to everyone who attended her service. Many of you wearing pink which Gembones would have loved.
What a fantastic service she had, led by Steve of Last Rites. I really can’t sing this guys praises enough, with his calmness and humour.
It was such a beautiful but emotional day, we laughed, we cried and laughed again. Gemma had the send off she truly deserved. She really has left a huge void in a lot of people’s hearts.
I would also like to say thank you to Lymers Funeral Directors for their compassion and professionalism. Nothing was too much trouble for them, thank you Naomi.
Thank you to everyone who has made a donation so far, that has been made to Mind. #Mental health matters, and it is nothing to be ashamed of.
A special shout out to Gem’s friends for being so supportive to our family during this devastating time, and for the photos, videos and memories they provided for her service. Gemma was so lucky to have you as her close friends, and we are very fortunate to have you in our lives.
Gemma will live forever through our hearts.
