The obituary notice of Graham John WHITEHALL

Really sad to hear of Grahams passing. I worked for Gra at the PCF (RR) in 1980. Graham was a really funny guy and great to work with. We also played cricket together for the RR Purchase Cricket team playing against suppliers of RR and had great times and adventures. Graham was a decent opening bowler. Graham was always fond of a bet on the horses. Together we would take a days holiday and go down to Cheltenham for the Gold Cup, great times. I remember one funny situation where I was in a full length plaster having broken my leg playing football. This wouldn’t stop us going to the Gold Cup, the only problem was going in Grahams tiny Mini car. I had to sit in the back with my leg through the front. Great times we had and Gra had a great sense of humour, very funny.
I know Graham was experiencing health issues the last time I spoke with him at RR. It’s very sad to hear of his passing but my memories are with me and there are many things on reflection that make me chuckle about our times together.

I have just received this sad news.
Graham was the first person I worked for in purchasing. Not only a great mentor but a good friend to me. One of the nicest guys you could meet. My deepest condolences to the family at this sad time.

So sorry to hear the news about Graham. Our thoughts are with his family.
We will miss our daily chats at Calke Abbey with the dogs.
