JohnWHITELEY"If I don't see you through the week, I will see you through the window."

On Friday 25th August 2023, John aged 91 passed away peacefully at home in Keadby (formerly Crowle.) The first born of Charlie and Helen Whiteley, beloved husband to wife Helen and late wife Jean Whiteley, née Webster. Much loved and cherished dad of John, Christopher, Helen, Daniel & Naomi. A dear brother to Tony, David and the late Joan, Charles (Charlie) and Rodney. Father in law to Al, Louise, Alison and Louise. A truly loved and doting grandad, who gifted happiness and fun. Great grandad, uncle, brother in law and best friend to the late George Robinson. John was loved by many & will be sadly missed by all.

A committal service will take place at 12:45pm on Friday 15th September at Woodlands Crematorium followed by a celebration of life at Crowle Methodist Church at 1:45pm

The family would like to give a special thank you to all the staff at Scunthorpe General Hospital, Sir John Mason House, the Community Nurses and the Macmilllan care team for their support and kindness at this difficult time. So sad to hear of this. I knew John as polo John. He worked for my Grandma for many years (Mavis Raddish) he was a wonderful man who always had a story to tell with a smile on his face. Was a privilege to have known him. Gemma x
