Philip, Mary and the Family of the late Philip Smith Whiteley wish to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours in Linthwaite and Kirkheaton for their kind expressions of sympathy, cards and letters of condolence and donations to Broad Oak Cricket Club received in their sad bereavement. Also to Doctors at Croft House Surgery, Slaithwaite, District Nurses based at Marsden Health Centre and Dr. Welsh and staff on Ward 5 at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary for their care and kindness, to Rev. Jenni Honeyman for her comforting Service and to Tony and Taylor Funeral Services for their efficient arrangements. Finally a big thank you to all those who attended the Funeral in the terrible weather conditions and understand perfectly those who were unable to.
